PCM is a form of digital signal used to represent analog data and is an optional audio format on many TVs.
The TV's sound bar does not support Dolby Sound and DTS.
Q: Is there no sound when I connect the sound bar and the TV with an auxiliary cable?
A: Please use an audio or RCA cable to connect to a traditional TV, and make sure the TV's port is Audio Out, not Audio In.5.
Q: There is no sound from the soundbar when I watch Netflix and Prime. How should I handle this?
A: If you can't find sound on the soundbar when playing on Netflix, Prime, etc, you need to find the audio settings option and select Stereo instead of Dolby.
Here are the specific instructions:
x Roku:
Select Stereo–>Audio Mode for Audio, if via Optical, set HDMI and S/PDFI options to PCM-Stereo.
x Fire Stick:
Settings–>Sound/Display–>Audio, select Stereo.
x Apple TV:
Settings–>Audio and video–>Audio output, select Stereo, Dolby Digital select Auto.
